We are very excited to be bringing back Gweeplefest on the 11th of May 2024 from 9.30-23:00!
We are partnering with Play2Give to raise money for Oxford children’s hospitals. We are very lucky this year to have secured the Barn in Didcot which is a lovely venue with good parking and a fully licensed bar.
We have some playtesters lined up to showcase their new games and a raffle with over £400 worth of board games ready to be won. We will also be hosting some Blood on the Clock Tower and running a schedule of teaching games which you can sign up for on the games organiser on the Facebook page. (2) Facebook Volunteers will be on hand all day who can offer advice on games you might like and teach some fantastic gateway games if you are new to the hobby. We will of also have a fully stocked games library you can borrow from with over 200 games to choose from.
We are very excited to announce that BBQ Sam and his food truck will be at the venue at lunchtime! Please do check out his sample menus on his Facebook page and we will publish the final event menu closer to the time. His food really is delicious. You are welcome to bring your own food but kindly ask that you do not bring in alcohol from home due to the licensing restrictions at the venue.
